A few days ago I was interviewed by author Lorna Suzuki for her All Kinds of Writing Blog.

Lorna Suzuki

It was great fun, Lorna asked a lot of considered questions such as:

What do you get when you mix historical fiction with the supernatural? You get The Immortal Knight Chronicles created by Dan Davis! I’d like to begin by having you share a little information about yourself with our readers, Dan. What do you enjoy doing when you are not writing?

And:

Being a fan of historical fictions, but not so much of the sparkly-type vampires, I was pleasantly surprised! I thoroughly enjoyed reading an excerpt from Book 1 of  The Immortal Knight Chronicles. What was the inspiration behind this story and can you tell us a little bit about your protagonist, Richard of Ashbury?

There was a lot of opportunity to talk about indie publishing, my writing practices and strategies, which is nice because I love talking about myself. I hope I didn’t come off like too much of a goon. Why on earth was I going on about my “word count” so much?

Anyway, please go and read the interview on the All Kinds of Writing page of Lorna’s website.

Who is Lorna? And what are her books about?

Lorna is author of the Imago fantasy series and other fantasy stories. Here is the blurb for Imago Chronicles: Book One, A Warrior’s Tale

‘Imago Chronicles: Book One, A Warrior’s Tale’ begins at the height of the turmoil that shall determine if indeed there will be a Third Age of Peace. Besieged by the enemy from the east and now immersed in war with solders of the Dark Army from the west, Nayla Treeborn and her People are about to engage in the next great war that will decide the fate of all mankind and Elves in Imago.
In a desperate attempt to deliver word to the Elf King of Wyndwood and those of the old alliance for a call…
