A few things happened that led to this.
When I published the first Immortal Knight Chronicles box set, I included a short story called Vampire Templar.
You couldn’t buy it anywhere else.
I put the box set on sale for 99c/p for a week so people could buy it and then put the price up.
This seemed like a great idea at the time.
It’s since been pointed out that my new fans have not had the opportunity to buy the short story without paying for the full cost of the box set.
That doesn’t make sense, does it…
So I am making it available to purchase on Amazon for 99c/p now.
Also…
I have written a short story that takes place in 1513 after Vampire Impaler. I was going to put it at the end of the next box set and reduce the price for a week.
But there would also be the same issue.
So I am going to publish it as a separate ebook so anyone can download it whenever they want.
Something else happened.
A few people have messaged me saying things like “You said Richard was at Agincourt. Any chance we’re going to see that at some point?”
And “You make reference to Richard, Walt and Rob fighting in the Italian Wars. I would have liked to read about them during that period and seen some of the battles.”
I’m not sure if you agree but I think these are excellent points.
For all these reasons I will be releasing a number of short stories under the imaginative name The Immortal Knight Chronicles Short Stories.
They will be released irregularly and not in chronological order.
But they should be some fun, thrilling, entertaining tales that add to the depth of the world of the Immortal Knight Chronicles.
I am excited about writing these episodes and I hope you will be too.
