Rama Seti didn’t exactly volunteer. His head was cut off and grafted onto the body of an 8ft tall, genetically engineered super soldier and then blasted into the outer Sol System. After all, someone has to battle the giant alien warrior and decide the fate of humanity.

Hello! The new book launch has gone REALLY well so far. With the promo sites and adverts over week 1, Orb Station Zero had a couple of especially good days. My best launch so far, by far, and I am pleased even as it now slips down the rankings for the time being (it’s okay, the series will take off later).
Now, I very much hope that some of the people who bought the book at $0.99c will actually read the book (many people I am sure grab a 99c book they like the look of, meaning to read it eventually but never quite get back to it because they have purchased 3,657 books in the meantime. You know the type. You probably are the type. In fact, I am the type). And I hope that some of those that read the book will be motivated to leave a review on Amazon letting other people know what they thought of it.
The book is in Kindle Unlimited (it’s £7.99 a month in the UK and you read as many books as you like that are in the scheme and there are hundreds of thousands in KU) and in the first week I have had many thousands of pages read, which is amazing. I hope that some of them stop reading KU books for long enough to leave a short review on mine.
Reviews are super important for authors. They are one of the key ways a prospective readers decides whether to buy your book or not. A reader decision tree processing in nanoseconds and it goes thusly:
1. Cover, 2. Blurb, 3. Number of reviews, 4. Average score of reviews, 5. What did they have for lunch today, 6. Obviously I’m just making these up but you get the point.
Reviews are really important for selling more books to new people.
And for that reason I am very keen indeed to get as many reviews as I can. And so I am very happy to give you a free copy of the book if you will leave an honest review when you are done reading it (if you hate it, for some reason, don’t feel like you HAVE to leave a review or anything… but seriously, that’s the risk we take. Personally, I’m extremely proud of my book so I have no fear at all of that **eye twitches**).
If that sounds like your kind of thing, email me and I’ll reply with your free review copy (it’s the full book, it just has some extra links in the front).
My email address is dandaviswrites@outlook.com

It appeared beyond the orbit of Neptune. An alien space station, a threat to the Sol System and a gateway to the galactic wormhole network. For a century, humanity has sent a champion to fight for our future. Every one of our finest heroes was torn to shreds. This is our final chance.
First, Rama must survive four billion miles in the UNOPS Victory, training with the deadliest genetically engineered Marines, soldiers, fighters and killers the world has ever known. And each of them means to be the savior of humanity.
